“ One of the best sushi spots I’ve ever been to in Fort Wayne. The place has a calm, modern vibe, and you can tell right away they take their food seriously. We always sit in a booth and went with our regular sushi but I try something different every time and every piece of sushi was awesome. The rice was perfectly seasoned, and everything was prepared beautifully. The staff are always friendly and helpful, explaining each dish. You could tell they really cared about the whole experience. If you love sushi and want something special, Miyabi is a must. 100% worth it. I’ll definitely be back for the hundredth time. ”
“ Absolutely AMAZING!! My husband and I used to go to a sushi place in ND when we lived there and their fried rice was always my favorite! I tried this fried rice today and it tasted just like it! The woman there said they make everything fresh and from scratch! All the sauces... literally EVERYTHING is fresh! Definitely recommend checking it out! SO GOOD! ”
“ Best Japanese food I’ve had in fortwayne at a restaurant, The place felt very authentically Japanese in every way. The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly, and the food is truly mouth watering. ”
“ My spicy tuna, spicy salmon and spicy California rolls were ok. 4 stars. My wife had the Teriyaki chicken and it was amazing! Sushi is something that is so hard to get right this far inland. I feel they do the best with what they get during our winter times in Northern Indiana. Service was exceptional. Quick and visually pleasing. You do get a nice portion for lunch. Price's are good. After tip, you are talking 20 per person. Restaurant was very clean and some place I will come back too and try something different. Owned by fluent speaking Japanese. Great reminder of how well I was treated while in Japan many years ago. ”
“ So good! Avi was kind and made fantastic recommendations for our first visit. Started with the most delicious clear soup I’ve ever had, followed by the appetizer sampler. It was awesome! Everything was fresh and obviously made in house, including all the delicious sauces. We ordered the spider roll and crazy salmon roll. Both were wonderful! Don’t let the location stop you from going, it is a new fav for me and I can’t wait try more of the menu! ”
“ Stumbled across this place on accident and am SO glad we did — every single thing we ordered was delicious. The app sampler came with 3 dipping sauces, all made in-house, and i couldn’t decide which one I liked best. They were all super tasty, and they each went well with all the different apps (except the gyoza which I only tried with the black soy) which was nice. Our meals included complimentary clear soup, which was shockingly good for something that seems so simple - the flavor was rich and had a great depth to it. The crab rangoon was the best I have had in Ft Wayne and among the best overall. It had plenty of filling, and the outside was crispy to absolute perfection. They had a really good selection of specialty sushi rolls, it was hard to choose but I went with the Fujiyama roll, and loved it. My daughter had the bulgogi; the portion size was impressive, the beef was so tender and the flavor was perfect. I was too busy devouring the food to get many pictures but the plating and presentation of everything was really nice too. We finished with the lava cake, which was beautifully plated, rich and decadent. There was a lot that we wanted to try, and we were celebrating so we went all out with apps and dessert, but even with all that the prices were very reasonable and the menu is has good variation. It’s not huge inside but has a nice ambiance and a little pond full of adorable koi by the entrance. Service was so friendly and attentive, and they give you those delightful little hard-to-find guava candies at the end ingredients are good quality and everything is made in house so it’s a great place when you want to impress someone or are celebrating but would also be good for a more casual/affordable outing -you could easily keep it under 15/person and still be satisfied with a delicious meal. I’m always looking for good local spots and this one is definitely going into my permanent rotation. The location in Glenbrook Square can make it easy to miss but this place is worth seeking out, truly a hidden Ft Wayne gem. ”
“ The atmosphere is immediately inviting and cozy, with a small pond of koi fish and plants near the front entrance. We were seated within minutes and our server was hospitable and welcoming. With the low lighting and light music, Miyabi offers a comforting (or sensual) environment.. ultimately depending on your dining preferences The food was carefully curated and outstanding. Our server was very informative about our food's origin and its quality. My boyfriend and I will be coming back again soon!! ”
“ We enjoyed the clear soup, the appetizer sampler, followed by some incredible sushi! The Blue Fire was my favorite! Great service, too. We are already looking forward to our next visit! ”
